INDOOR BOWLS

A GAME FOR EVERY AGE

Where: Moutere Hills Community Centre

Cost: First two afternoons free, then $3 per session

Who: Anyone from 8 – 88 or maybe older

Why: Indoor bowls is truly a game for all ages, whether young or old, male and female, firm and infirm can compete on an even footing. Grandchildren, parents, and grandparents are all able to play together, building intergenerational bonds, and developing patience, concentration, and hand-eye co-ordination.

It can be a casual afternoons entertainment, or can lead to regional, national or even international honours. (Last years Nelson single champion was 12 years old where he beat a 72 year old in the final.)

SO: Come along prepared for a fun learning afternoon.
