The history of the centre

Moutere Hills Community Centre was established in Upper Moutere in October 2005 through a local initiative whereby residents in the area agreed to directly fund the original building costs in conjunction with a generous contribution from Tasman District Council. This busy centre is located on the original Upper Moutere domain; a greensward comprising rugby and soccer pitches, a cricket wicket, playgrounds, shaded picnic area and a bank of three club tennis courts and one netball/tennis court for public use.

Due to a generous grant from “A Country Occasion At Neudorf”, a history of the Moutere Domain has been written.  Please enjoy the wonderful history of this amazing community facility by clicking on the link below to download a copy of this book.
